Livestock Nutrition Center LLC seeks a Merchandiser to drive local and regional ingredient sales and merchandising. You will assist with supply chain and logistics, ensuring product positions and quality meet customer needs while coordinating with leadership on market prices and positions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in merchandising or ingredient sales, with a focus on communication, negotiation, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three plus years in merchandising or ingredient sales preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent negotiation and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute straight and direct ingredient sales and merchandising activities to meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with the Ingredient Sales Lead to develop selling strategies by commodity and season.
• Identify and pursue ingredient procurement opportunities when applicable.
• Negotiate with suppliers while maintaining long-term relationships.
• Monitor contracts and ensure timely shipments; manage demurrage and shrink issues.
• Support logistics across barge, rail, and truck operations.
