Job summary

The Avaline at River Oaks, a Claiborne Senior Living managed community in Memphis, Tennessee, is seeking an experienced and driven Executive Director to lead and oversee the operations of our senior living campus.

You will drive occupancy, manage budgets and teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with ownership and regional leadership to deliver exceptional resident experiences. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a passion for compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of senior living or multi-department leadership experience.
• Proven track record of operational and financial management success.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in senior living.
• Demonstrated ability to build and retain high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of community operations, including resident care, financial performance, sales, and team development.
• Drive occupancy growth and execute strategic plans to meet or exceed census goals.
• Lead, mentor, and develop department leaders and team members.
• Foster a positive, empowering, and performance-driven workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage budgets, expenses, and revenue to achieve financial targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, referral sources, and community partners.
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement action plans for continuous improvement.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the community and ownership.
