Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University seeks an Associate Program Director to lead the Midwifery & Women’s Health Programs, collaborating with the Program Director, core faculty, and university partners to ensure excellence and accreditation readiness.

The role blends leadership, curriculum oversight, and student advising, serving as acting program leader in the Program Director’s absence and advancing strategic plans and faculty development.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Midwifery or related health sciences
• CNM/CM credential and PA licensure eligibility in PA
• 5+ years teaching experience in midwifery/health professions
• 2+ years clinical midwifery experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and management skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with program leadership to ensure continuity and effective operations.
• Oversee curriculum revisions and learning outcomes development.
• Support accreditation processes and strategic planning.
• Oversee admissions and student advising.
• Provide mentoring to faculty and ensure open communication.
