Qualifications

• Master's Degree in education, educational leadership, administration, curriculum and instruction, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor short- and long-term goals to support the division's strategic plan.
• Direct the development of elementary curriculum and instructional priorities.
• Align instructional budgets and financial resources with program goals.
• Identify emerging instructional needs and opportunities to advance elementary teaching and learning.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of elementary curriculum, assessment, instructional programs, and initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Represent the division on committees and initiatives related to instruction.
• Lead, supervise, develop, and evaluate assigned staff to ensure effective performance.
• Provide guidance to coordinators, teachers, parents, and administrators regarding policy and procedures.
• Collaborate with principals, supervisors, chiefs, and other division leaders to address instructional concerns.
• Build relationships with parents and community and respond to instructional issues.
• Provide leadership for division-wide professional learning and staff development.
• Communicate priorities with the School Board and division functions.
• Build alignment among schools and departments around a shared vision.
