Job summary

Under the direction of the Board, the Executive Director plans and evaluates all activities, drives economic development, public space improvements, marketing, and grant administration while representing the District to state and federal agencies and community

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates all activities of the District, including economic development, downtown revitalization, public space improvements, and organizational operations.
• Develops and implements the Board's strategic priorities while ensuring effective management of personnel, financial resources, and stakeholder relationships.
• Represent the Hammond Downtown Development District to local, state, and federal agencies, business owners, residents, and community organizations.
