WesleyLife in Iowa seeks an Executive Director to lead a geographic health and well-being network, translating strategy into actionable goals and operations that support independent aging and high-quality care.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, team development, service coordination, resident engagement, and community partnerships, with a focus on financial stewardship and regulatory compliance to sustain growth and mission.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (preferred).
• Iowa Nursing Home Administrator license required.
• At least five years of work experience managing a medium-to-large continuing care retirement community setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic and operational plans aligned with WesleyLife's mission and goals.
• Lead leaders, set goals, communicate effectively, and delegate to maintain efficient operations.
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teammates; promote learning and well-being.
• Coordinate services and expand offerings through partnerships and collaboration.
• Engage residents and families with a warm, person-centered culture.
• Represent WesleyLife in the community and at events.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, risk management.
• Develop and manage budgets, census goals, payor mix; monitor labor costs.
• Coach and develop staff; monitor productivity and quality.
• Complete trainings on time and handle emergencies professionally.
