Job summary

Tarsus is seeking a Senior Director of Technical Operations in Irvine, CA. This position provides strategic leadership for drug product manufacturing and oversees external CDMO operations from late-stage development through commercialization. The role involves managing operational complexities and ensuring a reliable supply for programs.

With over 15 years in Technical Operations, the ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, excellent people management skills, and a proven track record in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Technical Operations and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of sterile product manufacturing processes.
• Experience with sterile ophthalmic dosage forms and solid oral dosage forms.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead end-to-end drug product manufacturing strategy.
• Oversee CDMO relationships and establish governance models.
• Resolve critical manufacturing issues and develop risk mitigation strategies.
