Job summary

Spectrum Human Services in Southfield, MI seeks an experienced Associate Director to provide strategic leadership across Adoption, Foster Care, and Licensing, guiding a team of program managers, supervisors, and case managers to deliver high-quality trauma-informed services.

You will work with executive leadership, state partners and community stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and continuous quality improvement, while expanding impact and strengthening

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in social work or related field; MSW preferred.
Minimum six years in child welfare with supervisory/leadership experience.
Knowledge of MiSACWIS, CQI, and MDHHS Licensing Rules.
Valid MI driver's license and safe driving record; reliable transportation.
MDHHS Central Registry clearance and TB test requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership across Adoption, Foster Care, and Licensing.
Lead program managers, supervisors, and case managers to deliver trauma-informed care.
Ensure regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and fiscal stewardship.
Collaborate with executive leadership, state partners, and community stakeholders.
