Job summary

Curry College invites applications for a part-time Head Coach for our Softball team. Under the direction of the Director of Athletics, the Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of the development and administration of a successful NCAA Division III Intercollegiate Sport Program.

The program will be conducted in accordance with all College and NCAA rules, regulations, and policies. The Head Coach will supervise and delegate certain functions to the Assistant Coaches.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching NCAA Division III athletics.
• Ability to teach and instruct student-athletes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coaching/Teaching routines: develop sport-specific skills safely.
• Create, present, and maintain up-to-date practice plans and drills.
• Schedule practice and game preparation sessions; conduct post-game analysis.
• Supervise and delegate functions to Assistant Coaches.
• Lead efforts to improve the program and achieve conference and regional standing.
• Ensure proper safety equipment and safety practices are implemented.
