Job summary

Herzing University is seeking an Associate Director of Academic Compliance to provide central support to locations and programs, managing compliance activities and promoting regulatory readiness across the university. The role requires a minimum of three years in academic compliance or regulatory affairs and at least five years in a higher education environment.

A remote-work arrangement is available for residents within the United States, with no remote work from outside the US.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three-years of experience in Academic Compliance and/or Regulatory Affairs.
• Minimum of five-years of experience in a higher education environment.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship available at this time.

Responsibilities

• Execute academic compliance initiatives in alignment with the University Strategic Plan.
• Collaborate with university constituents; maintain project plans and timelines for regulatory initiatives.
• Complete annual compliance activities to accomplish strategic priorities.
• Audit programs and locations to ensure readiness and compliance with academic standards.
• Coordinate advisory board meetings; document minutes, action items, and communications.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state, accreditation standards and procedures; develop resources for varying regional standards.
• Provide training on regulatory standards to university constituents.
• Manage project timelines, support, and quality assurance for regulatory reporting.
• Prepare leaders for regulatory visits and ensure readiness for on-site visits.
