Job summary

Focus Homes seeks a Land Market Intelligence Analyst to drive land acquisition decisions and product strategy. You will gather housing market data, perform competitive assessments, and support underwriting for multiple markets across the region.

You will work with Division Leadership, Corporate Executives, and Land Acquisition teams to map submarket dynamics, buyer profiles, and pricing positioning, delivering actionable insights for active and upcoming communities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Urban Planning, or related quantitative field.
1–2 years in market research, real estate analytics, land feasibility, or competitive market evaluations.
Advanced Excel modeling and data synthesis; BI/mapping tools experience (Tableau, Power BI, ArcGIS).
Strong verbal and written communication with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Support land acquisition feasibility with CMAs, price/pace assessments, and underwriting inputs.
Aggregate and analyze submarket data across multiple markets using GIS/MLS/Zonda.
Conduct regional fieldwork and competitive shops to track pricing, floor plans, and incentives.
Evaluate buyer demographics to inform product packaging and community design.
Present data-backed insights to Division Presidents and Investment Committees.
Monitor macro trends and mortgage rates to inform annual strategic planning.
