Job summary

AMH is seeking a Land Acquisition Analyst in Las Vegas, NV to evaluate raw land and development opportunities. You will perform underwriting, develop property value analyses, and support contract maintenance and invoicing for land acquisitions.

The role requires at least a high school diploma with preference for Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in Real Estate or related fields, plus 2+ years in land acquisitions and 3+ years in financial analysis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Master’s degree in related field preferred.
• 2+ years in land acquisitions, contract negotiation and relationship building.
• 3+ years as a financial/business analyst preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Excel; CRM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop property value analyses and underwriting for raw land and development lots.
• Prepare market research to identify land opportunities and time-to-market proformas.
• Coordinate ARB approvals and data collection for jurisdictions and property taxes.
• Create reports, graphs, maps, and feature comparisons for land opportunities.
• Maintain and track project schedules, budgets, and contracts with Legal as needed.
