QinetiQ US is seeking an experienced Special Operations Planner (J5) to support USSPACECOM at Peterson SFB, CO. The role requires deep J5 planning expertise and the ability to integrate SOF, Cyber, and space perspectives into campaign and contingency plans.

You will coordinate with USSOCOM, USCYBERCOM, TSOCs, and interagency partners, and develop briefings, staff packages, and risk assessments under time pressures. A TS/SCI clearance is required and you will work in a classified environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in strategic studies, national security affairs, political science or related field.
• 10+ years of operational and strategic planning experience at a J5 billet/Combatant Command
• Experience executing JPP, JOPES, or MDMP at the strategic level
• Experience integrating SOF and/or Cyber into campaign or contingency plans and working with USSOCOM/USCYBERCOM
• Strong briefing skills and ability to produce staff packages under time pressure
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required; #qinetiqclearedjob

Responsabilités

• Execute the full J5 planning process, integrating SOF and Cyber into campaign and CONPLANs
• Develop CONOPs, COAs, and orders reflecting space, SOF, and Cyber perspectives
• Interface with USSOCOM, USCYBERCOM, TSOCs, and interagency partners on plan development
• Coordinate J5 planning across GCCs, allies, and interagency to resolve conflicts
• Prepare decision-ready products for senior leadership under dynamic conditions
• Incorporate STO and SAP capabilities while ensuring deconfliction in space domain
• Support exercises, wargames, and AARs to improve plans and readiness
• Identify gaps/risks and propose mitigations; maintain situational awareness
• Maintain OPSEC and manage TS/SCI/SAP classifications
• Utilize SIPRNet/JWICS for distributing planning materials
