Job summary

Procter & Gamble (P&G) is seeking an experienced IT Vendor Relationship Senior Manager (IT VRM) to lead relationships with high-risk, strategic IT vendors from the Corporate Information Technology team in Cincinnati.

This role coordinates with internal IT leaders, business partners, and end users to ensure alignment on business needs and IT direction, oversees vendor performance, and facilitates issue resolution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing complex IT contracts and vendor relationships, particularly with managed service providers.
• Proven ability to foster collaborative vendor relationships and create incentive structures that promote desired vendor behaviors.
• Expertise in vendor governance to minimize value leakage and maximize innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, formalize, and lead strategic relationships with high-risk IT vendors.
• Collaborate with internal customers and vendors to align with business objectives.
• Monitor vendor performance, financials, and relationships to ensure objectives are met.
• Facilitate communication between vendors and IT leadership/executive teams.
• Ensure business requirements are clearly communicated to vendors and understood.
• Serve as primary contact for issue escalation and dispute resolution.
• Manage health and performance of vendor relationships against goals.
• Prioritize business needs and translate requirements to vendors.
• Collaborate on vendor/resource planning including demand management.
• Drive adoption of VMO services among leadership and promote best practices.
