Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Category Manager (Supply Chain) to own supplier relationships and develop category strategies for IT equipment used across fulfillment facilities. You will work with IT engineering, product management and procurement to drive value, cost efficiency and risk management.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision making and ongoing optimization of supplier performance to meet enterprise goals and regional needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years cross-functional collaboration with tech and non-tech teams.
• 3+ years of data-driven process improvement using metrics.
• 2+ years of supply chain experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Serve as supply chain SME for IT equipment within a category, managing procurement, readiness, supplier performance and risk.
• Develop category strategies and roadmaps to improve supply agility, supplier coverage and cost efficiency.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, capability development and risk mitigation.
• Engage with business partners to maximize value in cost, resilience and innovation.
• Support sourcing strategies and contract compliance with suppliers and internal teams.
• Monitor market conditions and manage contracts to preserve value.
