News Corp is seeking a Senior Manager, IT Sourcing in a hybrid role (NY or NJ). The position combines strategic liaison work with business units and the procurement organization to translate needs into sourcing strategies, while overseeing renewals, contracts, and transactional workflows.

The role requires 4–7 years in IT sourcing, broad tech category contracting, and coordination with CoE/offshore teams. Base pay is $130,000–$155,000 plus bonus, with a 3-day-in-office hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of IT sourcing or procurement experience in a corporate setting.
• Generalist exposure across Software/SaaS, Hardware, Telecom, and IT Professional Services.
• Experience coordinating with CoE or shared services or offshore teams.
• Ability to review and redline commercial terms and SOWs.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders and internal teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for business unit stakeholders submitting technology procurement requests and SOWs.
• Help teams navigate procurement policies, budgets, and approval workflows.
• Manage transactional sourcing across technology categories including Software/SaaS and IT Professional Services.
• Lead contract redlining for extensions, POs, MSAs, and SOWs with standard terms and pricing.
• Coordinate with Legal, Data Privacy, and Cyber Security to enforce enterprise risk standards.
• Renewal and flow management with central CoE and offshore support teams.
• Maintain contract records, supplier data, and savings logs.
• Administer RFQs and competitive bids to drive price competition.
• Review expiring contracts to avoid auto-renewals and negotiate adjustments.
