Job summary

Bonneville Power Administration seeks a visionary IT Project Manager to lead critical technology projects underpinning the Pacific Northwest energy grid. You will serve as a strategic partner, guiding OT initiatives that support Transmission Technology Services and drive modernization across BPA.

You will shape agency IT/OT policy, own high-impact projects, and mentor staff while building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Advanced level proficiency in four competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving.
• Experience applying project management principles to IT projects through all lifecycle stages.
• Ability to define project scope, gather requirements, and coordinate resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership as a trusted partner for OT projects.
• Shape agency IT/OT policy and apply new developments to challenges.
• Take full ownership of organizing and executing vital technology projects from start to finish.
• Champion organizational change, process improvement, and technology enhancement.
• Build high-trust relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Offer expert guidance and mentorship to technology staff and senior executives.
• Architect forward-looking IT/OT solutions meeting current and future needs.
• Represent BPA in high-level conferences and with industry partners.
