Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Enterprise Technologies to lead the IT strategy for ERP platforms (SAP and Oracle) and enterprise applications.

You will guide architecture, security, cloud services, and integrations while partnering with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant technology solutions. The role emphasizes leadership, enablement of teams across development, operations, and governance, and a strong customer-service mindset within a utilities context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 8 years in leadership is required.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, Workday, or equivalent is preferred.
• SAP experience, including S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP integrations, SAP security, or ABAP is strongly preferred.
• Experience in the utilities sector (gas, electricity, or water) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for teams responsible for enterprise applications, platform administration, integrations, architecture, and support.
• Own and evolve the enterprise technology architecture strategy for ERP and related platforms; enforce standards and governance.
• Oversee application development, lifecycle governance, secure coding practices, and modernization initiatives.
• Define operational metrics, ensure system availability, disaster recovery readiness, and ongoing optimization across ERP/SaaS platforms.
