Job summary

You will partner with business and technology teams to assess opportunities, explore emerging solutions, and recommend practical approaches that balance value, risk, and operations. This in-office role spans multiple sites and infrastructure domains, including cloud, networking, security, automation, and OT contexts.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT architecture and infrastructure design.
• Experience with cloud, compute, storage, networking, endpoint management, or security.
• Experience designing cloud solutions in AWS or Azure.
• Ability to communicate technical recommendations to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to understand challenges, goals, and opportunities, translating them into practical infrastructure recommendations.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve infrastructure capabilities, reliability, security, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends across cloud, networking, security, automation, endpoint, and platform technologies to determine business applicability.
• Conduct research, proof of concepts, and technology assessments to validate potential solutions and support informed decision-making.
• Assess technology alternatives, evaluate tradeoffs, and develop recommendations based on business requirements, risk, cost, and operational impact.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of infrastructure standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.
• Collaborate with application, platform, and infrastructure teams to support solution design across on-premises, hybrid, virtualized, and cloud environments.
• Develop architecture diagrams, technical recommendations, and supporting documentation that enable alignment and consistent execution across teams.
• Partner with teams supporting manufacturing and operational technology environments to evaluate infrastructure solutions that support business outcomes.
• Influence stakeholders and technology teams through technical expertise, thoughtful analysis, and effective communication.
