Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Irving, Texas seeks a Principal IT Consultant with data analytics expertise to lead complex, data-driven initiatives. You will define system scope, analyze data flows, and advise on strategic technology choices while collaborating with multiple Citi teams.

You will guide data governance efforts, perform root-cause analyses, and mentor staff, ensuring alignment with regulatory and business requirements in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Requires 6 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in IT consulting roles.
• Experience performing data profiling and analysis to understand data purpose, flow and interdependencies.
• Experience implementing Data Governance policies and enabling data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provide input during development and implementation phases, including defining system scope and objectives for complex, high-impact projects.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation options considering business implications of technology in Citi context.
• Consult with business clients to determine functional specifications and partner with multiple units to meet objectives.
• Evaluate new IT developments and industry standards to recommend data systems enhancements.
• Supervise day-to-day staff management issues including resource management and mentoring.
• Telecommuting/hybrid work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
