JPMorganChase is seeking an Associate in the Acquisitions and Strategic Investments Group in New York. You will partner with teams across JPMorganChase to evaluate, structure, and execute acquisitions, divestitures, and minority investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate development, VC, PE, or a similar analytical role.
• Experience with corporate finance concepts and valuation methodologies.
• Ability to conduct independent research using public disclosures and market data sources.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, including building executive-ready presentations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including building and auditing financial models.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to synthesize complex topics.

Responsabilités

• Build financial models and prepare valuation analyses to support transactions.
• Develop investment committee and deal materials with clear presentations.
• Coordinate and project manage due diligence across partners and counterparties.
• Support transaction structuring and drive workstreams through signing and closing.
• Perform market and company research to inform investment theses.
• Monitor portfolio company performance including KPIs and valuation inputs.
• Manage portfolio-related processes including quarterly valuation updates.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external management teams.
• Track industry trends and emerging opportunities in financial services.
• Coach and mentor analysts through on-the-job training and feedback.
