Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Allocation Analyst to optimize merchandise deployment across stores and distribution centers. You will split orders, maintain balance across DCs, and ensure timely replenishment to support events and seasonal launches.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in retail allocation and strong Excel/Office skills, with familiarity in JDA/AS400 preferred. This full-time role is based in Chesapeake, VA, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or associate’s degree with additional experience/training preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years in retail store experience and/or merchandise allocation.
• Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
• JDA Arthur Allocations, MMS and AS400 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory deployment strategy for 700–1,000 SKUs with $110–$150M in annual sales.
• Split purchase orders to DCs to maximize service levels and turn.
• Allocate and replenish items weekly according to department strategy and merchant vision.
• Analyze sales history to support event quantities by location for seasonal SKUs.
