Job summary

The University of Arizona is seeking an Internal Communications Specialist to help develop and deliver clear, engaging messages that inform staff about institutional priorities. You will write, edit, and distribute content across emails, websites and publications, while ensuring brand alignment and accessibility.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Internal Communications, you will manage multiple projects, coordinate with campus partners, and measure messaging impact to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional-level experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Write internal communications content, including emails, memos, news posts and website content.
• Edit and proofread content submitted by campus partners for clarity, accuracy and accessibility.
• Ensure consistency with institutional messaging and brand standards.
• Build, format and distribute content across channels (primarily digital).
• Create communication products that follow brand standards and are engaging.
