Job summary

Insight Global in Miami is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to lead and execute audits across business operations, from planning to fieldwork and reporting. You will assess controls, test financial processes, and deliver findings to leadership while maintaining independence.

The role requires 4–5 years in internal audit or management consulting, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Business, strong communication, and solid project management.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience with large/complex Internal Audit Department, and/or management consulting firm.
• Experience auditing and advising on operational/financial processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to interface well with all levels of management.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Business.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute internal audits across business operations, including planning and performing fieldwork, testing controls, and evaluating financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and review audit documentation, ensure workpapers are thorough, and communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to leadership while providing regular status updates.
• Partner with stakeholders to maintain strong relationships while preserving audit independence; support SOX 404 testing and internal control reviews; assess controls related to incidents; track remediation efforts.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce risk, and support team development through mentorship and ongoing training.
