Job summary

CalHHS seeks an IT Manager II (AISO) to lead the planning and development of the Agency’s Information Security Strategy and related policies. The role drives efforts to raise the information security maturity across CalHHS entities in collaboration with CDT, OSI, and Cal-CSIC.

The incumbent acts as a trusted advisor on implementing internal and external policies, standards, laws, and best practices, representing CalHHS in policy discussions and priority setting across agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and development of the Agency's Information Security Strategy and related policies.
• Drive tactical activities to increase the information security maturity level across CalHHS entities.
• Collaborate with CalHHS entities, the California Department of Technology (CDT) Office of Information Security (OSI), and Cal-CSIC to understand needs and priorities.
• Advise on implementing internal and external policies, standards, laws, trends, and best practices regarding information security.
