Job summary

Kwaan Bear IT Solutions, LLC (KBITS) seeks an Information Operations Analyst to support advanced analytic and open-source research for high-priority public diplomacy campaigns and country portfolios.

You will identify adversarial narratives, map their spread across platforms, and convert findings into clear reports for diverse audiences while training practitioners in AI-enabled OSINT methods.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 4 years of intelligence analysis, digital forensics, journalism, or strategic communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytic support to high priority public diplomacy campaigns and country portfolios.
• Identify adversarial narratives and messaging patterns across media.
• Evaluate lifecycle of narratives from inception to decline.
• Perform Link Analysis and SNA to identify influencers and bot clusters.
• Map information flow across platforms to visualize communities interactions.
• Provide training and expert consultation on AI and open-source research methods.
• Draft materials and references for non-expert staff.
• Coordinate with interagency partners to grow open-source research capabilities.
• Conduct deep-dive investigations using open-source techniques.
