Job summary

LSU Foundation seeks a Director of Industry Engagement to build strategic partnerships between LSU, the LSU Foundation, and industry. You will lead a portfolio of industry relationships, drive growth in partnerships across talent development, research, and philanthropy, and align corporate interests with LSU priorities.

You will work with campus offices and external partners, travel as needed, and manage proposals and outreach to diversify support for LSU initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Five years of experience in external-facing roles such as business development, fundraising, and/or external partnership development.
• Experience communicating with all levels, from senior management to operational teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven success aligning corporate interests with programs to establish, secure and sustain valuable industry partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage industry support activities within LSU to grow funded projects.
• Develop and grow the industry engagement portfolio with new partners.
• Identify LSU assets and resources to serve industry stakeholders.
• Cultivate relationships with industry partners across the state and collaborate with campus offices.
