Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Human Intelligence Collector to support national security through intel gathering and sources debriefing. You will earn a security clearance and use strategic, cognitive, and language abilities to obtain actionable intel from friendly and hostile sources.

Training will develop your skills in intelligence collection, reporting, and coordinating with federal agencies, opening civilian career paths in research or planning after service.

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard and meet eligibility requirements.
• Must be at least a junior in high school or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements (see NATIONALGUARD.com).

Responsibilities

• Screen human intelligence sources and documents
• Debrief and interrogate human intelligence sources
• Participate in human intelligence operations
• Analyze and prepare intelligence reports
