Job summary

Huron Consulting Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support a large Education & Research segment. You will advise leadership, analyze workforce trends, and drive organizational development to improve people metrics.

This role collaborates with COEs, ensures compliance, and leads talent reviews and compensation planning with cross-functional teams. You will work in a remote-capable, but US-based environment, reporting to the HR Strategy Leader.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, organizational development, business, or related field
Minimum of 7+ years HR experience; global experience preferred
Experience leading projects with senior leadership support
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficient in Workday HRIS systems
Ability to leverage AI tools to streamline HR workflows and analyze data
Strong communication and executive presence

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership with strategic HR guidance
Analyze workforce trends and metrics with cross-functional partners
Drive organizational development and employee engagement programs
Collaborate with COEs to design and evaluate HR initiatives
Develop knowledge of Education & Research segment to provide strategic recommendations
Lead annual HR processes including performance reviews and talent planning
Ensure employment law compliance in partnership with Legal and HR teams
Identify proactive insights from data to inform HR solutions
Partner with HR Strategy Leader and business leaders on people issues
Provide tactical support for daily HR operations
