Job summary

Highmark Health seeks a Senior Project Manager within the HR PMO to lead planning and delivery of strategic HR initiatives across HR, HR Tech, Operations and Finance. You will partner with executives and vendors to drive measurable outcomes and ensure program success.

This role balances competing priorities, guides cross-functional teams, manages risks, and delivers status updates to leadership. It requires at least 4 years of project management experience and a PMP or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in a project manager role.
• PM certification (PMP) or equivalent preferred.
• Experience managing enterprise-wide HR, operations, technology, or transformation initiatives.
• Experience supporting executive leadership priorities and strategic organizational initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, strategic HR programs and projects from initiation through implementation and stabilization.
• Partner with executive sponsors, HR leaders, HR Technology, Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and external vendors to achieve project objectives.
• Build and maintain comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, milestones, and resources.
• Facilitate alignment and decision-making across multiple stakeholder groups with competing priorities.
• Identify risks, issues, roadblocks, and interdependencies; develop mitigation strategies and drive timely resolution.
• Escalate when required and present recommendations to leadership.
