Job summary

Starling Oncology in the United States is seeking an HR Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and teammates within assigned business units. You will support employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, engagement, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.

The role balances teammate experience, legal compliance, and business objectives with strong investigation, coaching, and analytical skills to help shape high-performing teams across multiple clinics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
• 5-8 years of progressive Human Resources experience required.
• Experience managing complex employee relations matters and conducting workplace investigations.
• Experience partnering with leaders on performance management, coaching, corrective action, and organizational challenges.
• Experience supporting multi-site, field-based environments preferred.
• California, Florida, Arizona, Oregon, or Nevada employment law knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary advisor to leaders on employee relations, performance management, and policy compliance.
• Conduct thorough workplace investigations and provide guidance on corrective actions and terminations.
• Partner with leaders on performance improvement plans, leaves, accommodations, and policy interpretation.
• Coach leaders on accountability, communication, conflict resolution, and leadership effectiveness.
• Support talent planning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
• Analyze workforce trends and use data to drive decisions and improve retention and engagement.
• Travel up to 25% and support remote or hybrid work arrangements.
