Sora Resource Group in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support the agency's mission by providing strategic and hands-on human resources support across programs. This role manages the employee lifecycle, including relations, performance, compliance, compensation, and HR operations within a nonprofit framework.

Working with the CHRO, HR Team, program directors, and staff, you will foster a positive, inclusive workplace and ensure consistent HR practices aligned with employment

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree or professional HR certification (PHR/SPHR) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience in nonprofit, social services, or community-based settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with Policies and Procedures.
• Serve as point of contact for employee questions and conflict resolution.
• Coach and counsel management on employee relations and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct internal investigations as needed.
• Facilitate employee separation processes and maintain records.
• Support engagement and retention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and funder regulations.
• Coordinate performance reviews and development plans.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and reporting.
