Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York (LASNNY) seeks an HR Generalist & Recruitment Specialist to manage the employee lifecycle with emphasis on proactive recruitment and outreach, onboarding, HR operations, training, travel coordination, and engagement. Qualifications

• 3–5 years prior HR, recruiting, administrative, and/or travel coordination experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive approach to recruitment, outreach, and networking.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, judgment, and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Support employee lifecycle with focus on recruitment and outreach.
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and 90‑day check-ins.
• Maintain accurate employee records across HR, benefits, payroll, and timekeeping systems.
• Arrange trainings, travel logistics, and employee engagement activities.
• Prepare HR documents, reports, and correspondence.
• Assist with payroll time-entry collection and other admin duties.
