Keeley Companies is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join their People Operations team in the St. Louis area. You will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on employment practices, compliance, employee relations, and benefits administration.

The role requires deep knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, and experience guiding audits, policy updates, and HRIS integration to improve workforce programs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, psychology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with emphasis on compliance, relations, benefits, or HR ops.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Experience with FMLA, ADA accommodations, leave programs, and I-9/E-Verify.
• Experience with self-insured health plans and benefits compliance.
• Professional certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred.
• Experience with UKG or similar HRIS platforms preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a trusted People Operations partner to leaders on employment practices and employee relations.
• Lead employment compliance efforts across federal, state, and local requirements.
• Identify and mitigate employment risk through audits, policies, and training.
• Oversee I-9/E-Verify, background checks, drug testing, FMLA, ADA, and leave programs.
• Partner with Benefits on health plan, 401(k), enrollment, and compliance.
• Collaborate with HRIS, payroll, and stakeholders to resolve benefit issues and improve programs.
• Analyze trends and gaps to improve compliance, efficiency, and employee experience.
• Lead cross-functional People Operations initiatives to support growth.
