Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Financial Analyst III for Operating Budget to plan, prepare, and execute the operating and key statistic budgets for the campus, and report monthly performance against the budget plan. The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Public Health or Healthcare Administration and at least 3 years of decision support experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Public Health or Healthcare Administration or similar field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in decision support or equivalent advanced degree.
• Advanced Excel & Access skills; proficient with SQL and data analysis.
• Experience with decision support products and executive-level reporting.
• Two years’ experience preferred as Senior Financial Analyst or Health Care Consultant.
• Master’s in Business Administration or Health Administration preferred; CPA designation advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct moderate to complex financial analysis using decision support systems and data tools.
• Lead annual volume and expense budget development for the campus.
• Perform monthly variance analysis and provide insights to leadership.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Accounting and other departments to ensure financial accuracy.
• Train operating partners on financial planning tools and processes.
• Assist in monthly forecasting with accurate projections.
