Job summary

Bayer is seeking a National Account Director for Health Systems in the USA to drive sales growth within large healthcare systems, IDNs, and organized clients. You will collaborate with ARs, AGMs, and marketing to execute strategy and hit targets while leading regional teams and developing new business opportunities.

The role requires travel (25–50%), deep understanding of formulary, pathways, and reimbursement, and strong leadership and analytic skills to optimize account performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field (Advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience with hospitals/health systems in account management.
  • Experience with cardiovascular products in health systems; heart failure experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic account sales plans to meet or exceed targets in health systems and hospital networks.
  • Collaborate with regional leaders to identify opportunities and win new business in health systems.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategies to maintain competitive edge.
  • Lead and coach RADs to achieve sales objectives and ensure best practices.
  • Provide training to improve product knowledge and account management tactics.
  • Engage in conferences and meetings with healthcare stakeholders to develop the ecosystem.
