Job summary

Charles Schwab in Westlake/Austin seeks a Director of Corporate Strategy to shape the firm’s long-term direction. You will evaluate strategic questions, develop analytics, and communicate findings to executives and employees across the organization.

This role leads cross‑functional engagements, mentors teams, and crafts executive presentations that articulate vision and progress. A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of business strategy experience in external consulting or internal strategy groups.
• 10+ years of total work experience.
• Deep expertise across brokerage, wealth management, asset management, digital assets, private markets, banking, payments, and money movement.
• Strong finance acumen (financial modeling, valuation, quantitative analysis).
• Ability to break down complex questions into actionable research & analytics plans.
• Experience leading cross-functional strategy projects in a large enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and build perspectives on Schwab’s strategic direction, using analytical and conceptual problem-solving.
• Communicate strategic direction to senior leaders and broad audiences across the organization.
• Engage, develop, and inspire teams to deliver a portfolio of strategy projects and grow professionally.
• Drive multiple strategy engagements balancing speed and depth to meet stakeholder needs.
• Lead engagements with cross-functional stakeholders including C-suite executives.
