Job summary

JCTM in Arlington, VA is seeking a Business Economic Analyst to support business and economic analysis and requirements-analysis activities for potential DHS/CISA engagements.

The role involves documenting as-is and to-be processes, modeling workflows, and identifying improvement opportunities, with collaboration across strategy, governance, data, and operations teams, with eligibility for a DHS clearance process.

Qualifications

• Experience with business analysis and process modeling.
• Experience with requirements elicitation, documentation, management, and traceability.
• Experience with business-process modeling tools such as Visio and requirements-management tools.
• Technical skills to evaluate requirements and document findings, model workflows and systems, and communicate recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support business and economic analysis.
• Assist with identifying IOD business and mission requirements.
• Support creation of Business Requirements Documents and Mission Need Statements.
• Support management and traceability of business and mission requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
• Document and confirm as-is and to-be business processes and workflows.
• Evaluate business requirements and processes and document findings.
• Model workflows and systems.
• Identify strategic improvement opportunities.
• Support development of improvement strategies aligned with IOD priorities.
• Communicate recommendations in a manner aligned with organizational goals.
• Support quantitative and qualitative evaluation, research, benchmarking, and process improvement where applicable.
