Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer II to drive supplier quality improvements for parts sourced from external vendors. You will define acceptance criteria, monitor supplier performance, and support CAPA and corrective actions across global teams.

The role requires a BS in engineering with at least three years of related experience, experience in regulated medical devices, and strong project management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or equivalent with at least 3 years' related experience.
• Experience in medical devices or regulated industry.
• Ability to influence cross functional global teams in Quality, Operations, R&D, and Sourcing.
• Experience with process validation, design controls, risk management, CAPA.
• Strong communication, organization and independent work style.
• Experience managing supplier quality issues and SCAR ownership.

Responsibilities

• Assess potential suppliers for technical, quality and manufacturing capability.
• Provide technical support for introducing components from new suppliers.
• Generate and maintain incoming inspection procedures and train inspectors.
• Develop inspection tools and equipment and assist in component qualification.
• Generate test protocols, monitor testing and approve components for use.
