Qualifications

• Automotive purchasing experience preferred.
• Regional/global interaction and leadership; proven negotiation skills.
• 3+ years purchasing experience.
• Fluent English helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and cost reduction strategies for designated commodities.
• Collaborate with Regional/Global Category Team to address cost, supply, quality issues.
• Build and manage relationships with local suppliers.
• Collect and analyze category data to support budget preparation.
• Propose strategic path to Regional/Global Category Manager based on analysis.
• Propose ideas for cost reduction/avoidance and continuous improvement.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, tooling, and contracts with suppliers.
• Drive supplier performance and compliance.
• Update negotiation strategy as conditions change.
• Support Business Unit in supplier issue situations.
