Job summary

Kids Empire US LLC is seeking a Senior Payroll Manager to lead the end-to-end payroll process for 2000+ employees across multiple states and entities. The role requires strong leadership to manage offshore payroll specialists and ensure accurate, compliant processing in collaboration with HR, Finance, and Accounting.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in progressive payroll roles, CPP/PCP certification preferred, and extensive Paylocity/HRIS experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive payroll administration experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing high-volume, multi-state and multi-entity payroll operations.
• Experience leading offshore payroll teams.
• Extensive experience with Paylocity Payroll and HRIS.
• Advanced knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, payroll tax compliance, and employment regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of ADP Systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• CPP or PCP certification.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll for 2000+ employees across multiple states and entities.
• Direct collection, validation, calculation, and documentation of payroll data.
• Review and approve payroll calculations, deductions, earnings, taxes, garnishments, and direct deposits.
• Oversee payroll account reconciliations and financial ledger entries.
• Conduct regular payroll audits for data integrity and records.
• Review timecards and timekeeping systems for wage accuracy.
• Maintain payroll balances and documentation for reporting and audits.
• Manage offshore payroll specialists and provide guidance.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and tax issues.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Accounting, Benefits, and Operations on data management.
• Recommend and implement payroll best practices.
• Communicate payroll policies and updates to employees and management.
• Ensure compliance with payroll tax laws and wage/hour regulations.
• Review and audit time clocks and time systems.
• Manage SUI, EDD notices, and ADP tax compliance.
