Room & Board is seeking a General Ledger Accountant in Minneapolis, MN, to strengthen financial reporting, forecasting, and close processes. This role partners with HR, IT, and Brand to provide insights that drive business decisions and improve financial visibility.

You will own balance sheet forecasting, monthly accruals, Central function P&L forecasting, and cost analysis while improving accounting workflows and internal controls. A collaborative, proactive mindset is essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Progressive accounting experience with GAAP knowledge and general ledger.
• Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data.
• Experience partnering with business leaders and communicating financial information clearly.
• Experience with SAP or Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Collaborative, curious, self-directed mindset with continuous improvement.
• Ability to provide proof of identity and right to work.

Mansioni

• Own financial reporting and month-end close with journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and GAAP compliance.
• Partner with Human Resources, IT, and Brand by providing financial analysis, forecasting, and insights.
• Drive balance sheet forecasting, monthly accruals, Central function P&L forecasting, cost analysis, and variance reporting.
• Lead and support projects to improve accounting workflows, internal controls, and efficiency.
• Monitor banking, payroll, benefits, and cash controls; contribute to planning and year-end activities.
