Staff Financial Group is seeking a Fractional Chief Legal Officer to serve as the primary legal advisor for 20–30 hours per week. This hands-on leadership role will guide executive decision-making, shape commercial contracting, and manage governance and risk.

The position leverages collaboration with an existing paralegal and external counsel. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of corporate legal experience, GA bar admission or eligibility, and a practical, business-minded approach to negotiation

Qualificações

• J.D. and active bar membership, with Georgia admission or eligibility for in-house counsel registration.
• 8+ years of corporate legal experience, preferably including in-house leadership.
• Strong commercial contracting and corporate legal background.
• Practical, business-minded approach with excellent negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and advise senior executives.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the legal function and advise executive leadership.
• Draft and negotiate commercial, technology, and vendor agreements.
• Oversee corporate governance, compliance, and risk management.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions.
• Address employment, privacy, intellectual property, and general legal matters.
• Collaborate with the existing paralegal and outside counsel.
