Job summary

Gemini Observatory is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to join NOIRLab’s MSS team and partner with program leadership on end-to-end financial planning, analysis, and reporting. The role emphasizes data-driven decision support in a scientific research environment.

Responsibilities include budget development, forecasting, and compliance with OMB/FAR/CAS, working with CAS and budget managers to produce accurate projections and cost allocations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FP&A or similar experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience with ERP systems and large, complex data sets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary financial partner to Program and/or Service leadership and budget managers.
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
• Create dashboards and reports to monitor financial health and risks.
