Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Lead Analyst to own long-range financial planning, cash flow forecasting, and profit-center profitability analysis. This role partners with business leaders to develop financial models and deliver clear insights that support strategic decisions.

The hybrid Denver-based position requires strong analytical ability, detail orientation, and the capacity to translate complex data into executive-ready recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive finance, FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical experience.
• Strong financial modeling skills with experience in complex data sets and driver-based forecasting.
• Ability to analyze financial and operational data, synthesize key takeaways, and communicate findings clearly.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with executive-ready reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance the company’s long-range financial plan, including revenue, operating expense, capital, EBITDA, and cash flow projections.
• Analyze profit center-level financial results to identify performance trends, margin drivers, risks, opportunities, and profitability recommendations.
• Build and maintain financial models using complex data sets and multiple scenarios to improve forecast accuracy.
• Support recurring cash flow forecasts and scenario analyses to assess liquidity and strategic planning.
• Influence strategy with business leaders by challenging assumptions, forecasting variances, and delivering profitability insights.
