Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst for Global Third-Party Manufacturing (TPM) Operations in Alameda, CA. You will partner with finance, operations, engineering, and manufacturing to deliver financial insights, drive forecasting accuracy, and support cost optimization efforts.

This is an onsite role at a key Abbott site. You will consolidate financial results, prepare month-end close deliverables, and participate in planning processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of FP&A, accounting, or related finance experience.
• Experience preparing forecasts, budgets, variance analyses, and management reporting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and analyze Global TPM financials (P&L, balance sheet, capital reporting).
• Prepare month-end close deliverables and variance analyses.
• Support quarterly reviews, annual planning, and long-range financial plans.
• Partner with manufacturing sites on standard cost setting and cost variance analysis.
• Forecast Gross Margin Initiatives and incorporate into projections.
• Collaborate with TPM Operations and Engineering on capital/project forecasts.
• Review capital and project spending monthly and highlight risks/opportunities.
• Coordinate fixed asset processes with operations and COE teams.
• Identify cost savings, process improvements, and efficiencies.
• Deliver actionable financial insights and ad hoc analyses for leadership.
