Job summary

Buff City Soap is looking for a Financial Analyst in Addison, TX, who will collaborate closely with the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis. The role involves analyzing financial data, preparing budgets, and forecasting results to support strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field and have 0-3 years of relevant experience. Exceptional Excel and communication skills are a must for this position.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of professional experience in Corporate Finance, Consulting, Banking or Audit.
• Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report on and analyze sales, financial, and operational data.
• Develop annual financial budgets and period results reports.
• Create regular forecasts based on actual performance against budget.
• Create financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making.
• Analyze industry and competitive trends and make recommendations based on those trends.
