Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of fixed income markets and investment concepts.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial applications; ability to communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Execute fixed income transactions under supervision of senior trading personnel.
• Monitor market conditions, interest rate movements, credit developments, and trading activity.
• Communicate trade information accurately with brokers, PMs, compliance, and operations.
• Support portfolio managers with market updates, security information, pricing, and liquidity analysis.
• Assist with portfolio construction by analyzing market data and opportunities.
• Develop relationships with broker-dealers, trading counterparties, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, risk controls, and procedures.
• Identify issues and escalate as needed.
• Support client presentations and market commentary with trading insights.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and ongoing professional development.
