Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a PATS Fiscal Manager to lead budgeting, financial operations, and reporting for Parking and Transportation Services. You will guide budget development, monitor cash flow, and advise leadership on financial performance and internal controls.

You will supervise finance and customer account staff, oversee procurement-related fiscal activity, and ensure compliance with university and state requirements.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree with accounting courses and five years professional experience in a related area such as accounting, auditing, banking or finance.

Responsibilities

• Directs the development, coordination, and monitoring of annual operating and capital budgets; prepares financial forecasts, funding projections, and budget analyses.
• Oversees accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, billing, collections, deposits, reconciliations, and other financial transactions.
• Supervises staff supporting the finance, billing, and customer account functions; provides leadership and development to staff.
• Coordinates fiscal processes to ensure compliance with University, state, and departmental policies; supports State Fleet Management reporting and billing.
• Oversees customer account administration and front-end business office coordination; liaises with internal and external stakeholders.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
