Job summary

County of Del Norte, CA is seeking an Administrative Analyst I/II (Fiscal) in Crescent City, CA. This mid-management, exempt role supports the Health & Human Services division with complex accounting and administrative duties.

Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, grant applications, budgeting and fiscal analysis to support department operations. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary; closing date is 10/7/2026.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of full-time professional experience performing administrative work in general administrative, personnel, fiscal, program analysis and evaluation.
• Desirable Qualifications: Experience in a governmental agency is highly preferred.
• Pattern 1 for Administrative Analyst II: One (1) year full-time experience as Administrative Analyst I.
• Pattern 2 for Administrative Analyst II: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Prepares financial and special reports providing recommendations on the basis of analysis and evaluations.
• Prepares grant applications and/or requests for funding allocations performing the research to justify funding needs.
• Administers resources such as personnel, equipment, facilities and funding necessary for meeting current and future service needs.
• Performs the analytical tasks necessary to determine feasibility and obtain proper authorization and funding for development of new programs and services.
• Prepares comprehensive fiscal analysis addressing costs, funding sources and cash flow.
• Writes reports and other official documents related to the department’s activities.
